Jaspreet Kaur

Educator, Poet and Author, Behind the Netra

Jaspreet Kaur, known as Behind the Netra for her poetry, is a spoken word artist, writer, and educator from East London. With a background in history and gender studies, she uses her platform to address social justice issues. Jaspreet's powerful performances have taken her to prestigious venues nationwide, including TEDx London, where she shares her journey of overcoming mental health challenges through the power of words.

Harriet Fear MBE 

Founder & Director, Harriet Fear Associates Ltd

Harriet, a career Diplomat for over 20 years, served in 17 countries with the Foreign Office. Recognised with an MBE in 2016, she led One Nucleus to become Europe's largest life science and healthcare membership body. As the Prime Minister’s Business Ambassador for Life Sciences, Harriet undertook high-profile duties. She currently serves as Special Adviser to Cambridge&, Founder and Director of Harriet Fear Associates Ltd (HFA Ltd).

Associate Director and Deputy Chair of the Sanger Leadership, Wellcome Sanger Institute

Alison Cork, MBE

Interiors expert, Entrepreneur, Author  TV presenter

Alison Cork, a trailblazer in women's entrepreneurship, made history in 1994 as the youngest female founder of a public company. She founded the Alison at Home Interiors brand, Make it Your Business and launched National Women’s Enterprise Week to support female entrepreneurs. As an ambassador for the British Library Business & IP Centre, she supports female-led start-ups. Alison's dedication to fostering female entrepreneurship and her pioneering spirit inspire others in the business world.

Chief Operating Officer, The British Library

Jas is the Chief Operating Officer of the British Library, having previously served as its Director of People. With a background as a Non-Executive Board Member, Trustee and Chartered Fellow of CIPD, Jas excels in aligning business and people strategies in various sectors. Experienced in HR transformation and talent management, she drives impactful strategies to achieve business goals. Jas's recent launch of the British Library's three-year People Strategy demonstrates her commitment to driving organisational change.

Dr Shreeya Tewary 

Consultant Gynaecologist & IVF Specialist, Bourn Hall

Dr. Shreeya Tewary, consultant gynaecologist and IVF specialist at Bourn Hall, specializes in infertility and reproductive health. With expertise in endometrial studies and endometriosis, Dr. Tewary offers insights into common causes of infertility, signs indicating the need for fertility support, and the subsequent steps. Formerly a Clinical Lecturer at the Tommy’s Centre for Miscarriage Research, she conducted groundbreaking research on early pregnancy loss. Dr. Tewary's dedication extends to establishing a tailored Endometriosis Fertility Service, providing comprehensive care for women with reproductive health concerns.

Dr Dijong Wu

Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Cambridge Chinese Medicine Clinic

 An experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner, graduated from Nanjing Medical School in 1979. In 1993, Dr. Wu moved to London, leading Europe’s first Chinese medicine degree programme at Middlesex University and earned his PhD from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2006. His clinical practice since 1994 focuses on acupuncture therapy for pain management and Chinese herbal medicine for gynaecological disorders. He is recognised for his expertise by serving on UK Department of Health committees and holding positions in professional regulatory bodies. He continues to contribute to the advancement of TCM in the UK.

Laura Wright

Consultant, Awerian

Laura Wright, a consultant at Awerian, holds an MPhys from Durham University and a DPhil in Quantum Optics from Oxford University. After teaching Physics, Maths, Coding, and Astronomy in London and leading a Physics Department in Cambridge, Laura transitioned to The Technology Partnership (TTP) as a Technical Consultant.

At Awerian, she oversees AI, Machine Learning, and Cyber projects, focusing on project leadership, business development, and team management. Laura also founded a Women's Network at TTP to promote diversity and inclusion. A mother of two, she believes in learning from every decision and continuously moving forward.

Prof. Dame Lesley Regan DBE

Head: Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Imperial College London

Dame Lesley Regan is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Imperial College, St Mary’s campus. She has chaired Wellbeing of Women since 2020, promoting women's health through research, education, and advocacy. A globally recognized authority, she served as President of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (2016-2019) and Honorary Secretary of FIGO (2018-2023).

In 2022, Dame Lesley became the first Women’s Health Ambassador for England, working to implement the Women's Health Strategy, a 10-year plan to improve health outcomes for women. She has authored best-selling books on pregnancy and miscarriage to empower women with vital health information.

Dr Dupe Burgess

Founder & CEO, Bloomful

Dr Dupe Burgess is an award-winning entrepreneur, speaker and thought leader in women’s health. She worked as a medical doctor for seven years before transitioning into the top consulting firm BCG, using data to solve complex problems for health companies. She then started Bloomful with a mission to streamline and personalise the delivery of women’s gynaecological healthcare.

She has since secured funding from angel investors and corporate giants including KPMG and Google. As a driven and tenacious leader and a proud advocate of women, Dupe has a vision to meaningfully address gender and health inequity and improve women’s well-being, creating a happier and more equitable world for women.

Rachel Hurst

Chief Operating Officer, Domino Printing Sciences

Rachel Hurst began her career in manufacturing in 1991 at Domino Printing Sciences, a global industrial printing company based in Cambridge with a turnover of £650M and 3330 employees. Domino provides essential supply chain traceability for food, beverage, pharma, personal care, and industrial products. Rachel has held various roles in manufacturing, supply chain, product management, and R&D.

Domino, formerly a UK-listed FTSE 250 company, is now part of Brother Industries, contributing to its growth and transformation. Rachel's primary role is to develop and manage a sustainable global supply chain, aiming for £1Bn in sales. A self-described natural introvert, she has successfully navigated her career as a senior leader within a FTSE organisation. Rachel is a Fellow of the IET and the Royal Academy of Engineering and has served as a Trustee for the IET.
