Here, you can find speaker guidance and branded slides ready for you to edit, to support you in delivering your session at the Rising Festival 2024.

PowerPoint Guidance:
On the day, if you wish to use PowerPoint slides, please download our branded slides, edit them as needed, and email them to [email protected]. For larger files, we recommend using WeTransfer.
Duration:
This is a 45-minute session. Ensure it remains engaging and interactive throughout.
Format:
- Whether your session is a talk or a workshop, aim to keep it interactive. Allocate time for Q&A either at the end or throughout the session.
- At the beginning, inform participants about how they can ask questions and when the Q&A will occur.
Introduction:

Welcome everyone to the session.

Provide a brief introduction about yourself and your expertise.

Outline what participants will learn today and the session format.

Share housekeeping information, including:
- A photographer will be onsite taking photos throughout the day. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
- In the event of a fire, please follow a member of staff to the designated meeting point.

Update your slides with these key points.

End with a call to action, key takeaways, and next steps or homework.
Speaker Tips:
- Engage with participants to keep the session lively and interactive.
- Include short exercises or activities to encourage participant interaction.
- Maintain energy and enthusiasm to captivate your audience.
- Encourage participants to share their insights or experiences related to the topic.
- Provide opportunities for networking or further discussion if relevant.

Be prepared for technical issues; please have a backup plan for your slides or other materials. Additionally, bring a copy of your slides on a memory stick. We will have a copy saved on our laptop, but having your own is a good precaution.

If you wish to provide handouts, please print 70 copies. Each room may vary in size, but we expect approximately 60-70 attendees in the breakout rooms.
